Kool Cure and Ultra Cure UV Curing Systems
Our AMJO Kool-Cure UV System is the ideal system to mount interdeck on sheet fed presses for curing UV inks at each print station, for presses with reverse printers or perfecting units. For curing on plastic, paper, or board substrates.
The AMJO patented cooling system circulates deionized water through two quartz tubes in front of the UV lamp. The water continuously absorbs infrared and passes on through a heat exchanger where it is cooled and recirculated. In this way 95% of the infrared heat is removed before it can reach the substrate.
The major advantage of the KC-300's heat removal system is the absence of heat from its immediate work environment. The low-profile lamphead assembly is designed for close quarters installation. It runs cool so roller bearings, blanket and impression cylinders and other closely situated press parts are never exposed to excessive temperatures.
Ultra-Cure
The AMJO Ultra-Cure UV system would be mounted in the delivery or in the extended delivery for the final curing of the UV inks or for curing UV coatings.
