The AMJO drying system for sheet fed presses are of two (2) basic types. Combination hot air and short wave infra red, or combination hot air and medium wave infra red. We offer standard systems for most popular sheet fed presses with regular or extended deliveries. We can also custom build systems for most other applications.

The AMJO system uses the benefits of infra red energy to evaporate the solvents and moisture from the inks and/or coatings, while using the hot air to scrub the moisture and solvents away from the sheet. In most cases some sort of exhaust system is used to remove moisture laden air from the drying area, in the form of an exhaust hood or exhaust pick up bars.

Controls for the AMJO combination hot air and infra red system include lamp intensity from 0-100%, main power on/off, and digital readout of the stack temperature. These are furnished in a control box that may be mounted at the location of the customer's choice.
