AMJO Shuttered UV System for Web Presses

This is a completely air cooled system with a polished aluminum elliptical reflector. It uses a high volume pressure blower for cooling the housing and reflector. A medium pressure high intensity UV bulb,available in 300 and 400 watts per inch. The lamp housing is designed with a balanced air flow for optimum cooling efficiency. With slide in, slide out lamp module.

The Amjo shuttered UV curing system features a very basic and trouble free shutter design, which allows the lamp to idle in stand by mode when the web is stopped, and reaching full power instantly when the web starts. This shutter also serves as the reflector when operating in run mode. This is achieved by rotating the reflector/shutter behind the bulb in the run status, and between the bulb and the substrate in the stand by mode.

The system uses a manual control console to control lamp power as well as indicate system status, such as compressed air supply, blower malfunction, hour meter, and ammeter. For systems using more than two (2) lamps the optional touch screen control is recommended, and for systems using over four (4) lamps it is required.
